Charming traditional hotel with excellent staff. Marvellous and particularly good location short walk to the Dordogne as well as Lascaux and Sarlat, could not be better. Also, lovely to be able to walk around the gardens. Fab and outstanding meals.

I absolutely adored the charming decor of the hotel. The vintage furniture and beautiful artwork gave it such a unique and nostalgic atmosphere. The common areas were also very accessible for senior people like myself, as there were plenty of comfortable seating areas and the staff were always ready to assist with any needs.

I would have appreciated a bit more assistance from the children working there. A dedicated concierge or staff member to provide recommendations and help plan activities would have made the vacation even better for senior guests.

The French country hotel is laid back and relaxing with traditional decor. The food is reasonably priced and we enjoyed relaxed dinners. The building and rooms are beautiful with friendly staff. The food is amazing, real French cuisine from Dordogne. The place has a rustic and charming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing stay. The gardens are lovely and great for walking our dog. The owner is welcoming and kind. The food is done in a traditional manner. It is our favourite stopover in France and we look forward to visiting again. Highly recommended for those who like character places with a traditional atmosphere.

Felt totally relaxed, nothing to complain about.

I had a delightful stay at this charming old house in a medieval hamlet. the room I stayed in was spacious and filled with original features that I absolutely loved. the grounds surrounding the hotel were beautiful and perfect for a leisurely stroll. the owner was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable. I must mention that the dinner served at the hotel was outstanding, showcasing the talent of a skilled chef. Cons: Everything was fantastic! 😊.

staying at the hostellerie de la commanderie in condas-sur-vezere was even better than my previous visit. the meals were delicious and plentiful, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. the charming hamlet and peaceful atmosphere were just what i needed for a relaxing getaway. highly recommended for a traditional and characterful experience.

One small thing was missing - some of the fittings need updating.

Fascinating historic building, full of well-chosen antique furniture. Extensive and beautiful park to stroll around. Spacious bedroom and well-arranged bathroom. Delicious traditional meals served on two nights.

Menu appeared unchanged for some time, but the owner did provide something different on the second night.
